Pulling inspiration from old-world tile-work and textiles, this collection seeks to explore these in a contemporary context. Like masonry and antique quilt blocks, this collection explores geometry, tile by tile.

After introductory projects that established an understanding of the ‘why’ and ‘how’ of designing pattern and placement for digitally printed fabrics, I proposed an independent project. Concepts were further developed through experimentation on Photoshop.
